Partner With Us In Preservation

ENHANCING GLENWOOD'S BEAUTY & INTEGRITY

For nearly 150 years, Glenwood has served as the final resting place for many of Houston’s most notable historical figures among others, a historic landmark, and a place of interest for the public. In 1999, the Glenwood Cemetery Historic Preservation Foundation (GCHPF) was established to preserve and enhance the beauty and historical integrity of Glenwood Cemetery, and continues to do so.

We invite you to join with us in pursuit of this vision.

Giving in 2020: The CARES Act

The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act) is a $2.2 trillion stimulus plan passed in March of 2020, which contains enhanced charitable giving incentives. Below are a few key provisions if you are interested in supporting Glenwood during these unprecedented times.

– Individual taxpayers who do not itemize their deductions will be eligible to claim up to $300 in charitable contributions as a deduction.

– The charitable deduction limit was raised from 60% of adjusted gross income (AGI) to 100%, making cash contributions fully deductible for individuals who itemize. Any excess may be carried over for 5 years. This does not include contributions to donor advised funds or supporting organizations.

Visit the Association of Fundraising Professional's The CARES Act: Charitable Giving Incentives for additional information.
